Hi, I’m Reese! I’m a New York–based artist, though I can often be found somewhere across the globe, traveling and gathering inspiration along the way. For the past five years, I’ve specialized in hand-painted skateboard decks that now hang in dorm rooms, apartments, and homes across the country. Over time, my work has grown to include surfboards, original paintings, and mixed-media pieces.

In 2023, I collaborated with Dormify to create a collection of 45 custom skateboard decks sold exclusively through its platform. My work has since been featured at The Female Flea pop-ups in Montauk during the summers of 2024 and 2025 and at Mary Lou’s Second Saturday Market in 2026. I’ve also partnered with local boutiques, brands, and creative spaces to create custom artwork and limited-edition pieces.

In 2026, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. Today, I’m continuing to grow Reese Ertel Art through original collections, commissions, collaborations, and new ways of bringing art beyond the canvas.
