Hi, I’m Reese Ertel, a 21-year-old artist working between New York and Austin, Texas. For the past five years, I have specialized in hand-painted skateboard decks that now hang in dorm rooms, apartments, and homes across the country.

Over time, my work has expanded beyond skateboards to include surfboards, canvases, and mixed-media collage pieces. Each piece is created with the goal of bringing art into everyday spaces and transforming ordinary objects into meaningful works of expression.

In 2023, I collaborated with Dormify to create 45 custom skateboard decks sold exclusively through their platform. My work has also been featured at pop-up shows in Montauk, New York, through The Female Flea during the summers of 2024 and 2025, while also partnering with local boutiques and creative spaces.

In 2022, my work was included in the Young Artists Exhibit at the Katonah Museum of Art. As I enter my final year as a Studio Art major at the University of Texas at Austin, I continue exploring new materials, ideas, and ways to create art that feels both personal and collectible.
